On Friday, it was reported that a Classic Whitesnake Concert is set for live release. According to reports, Whitesnake is all set to unveil “Live In ‘84 – Back To The Bone”, which is a collection of material from that time, on 11th November in North America.
Available on Deluxe CD/DVD and DVD packages, the envision is being published in sync with thirtieth Anniversary of “Slide It In,” Whitesnake’s multi platinum album. The “Live In ‘84″ album has been picked from video and audio recordings and earlier unheard exhibits from Whitesnake leader and vocalist David Coverdale’s private collection. The set offers an ultra-rare aggregation of material executed by the acclaimed 83-84 line-ups of the band.
Featured on the record are bassist Neil Murray, drummer Cozy Powell (Rainbow, Kerr AT, Gary Moore, MSG, Black Sabbath), and guitarist John Sykes, whom David Coverdale credits with inspiring a whole generation of musicians after his work on the band’s 1987 self-titled album.
Extra contents include well known keyboardist Jon Lord performing his last show with the Whitesnake. According to reports, David Coverdale told that it is still very hard for him to find the words when remembering that half the incredible band who actually recorded the ‘Slide It In’ album with him have passed away.
He added that it is highly tough to articulate – Mel Galley, Jon Lord, Cozy Powell – all are amazing people and great musicians. Their memories live on in people’s hearts and in the music they made. He really misses them beyond words.
